My blog has quite a lot of posts about Samuel West (Julius Caesar, On Chesil Beach and Darkest Hour) and Charles Edwards (My Fair Lady Australian tour and Henry IX).

Samuel West
Sam wrote a lovely article about Harold Pinter for the February issue of Socialist Review [link]
That was such a touching article that Sam wrote about his friend. I recently watched the re-run of the Harold Pinter documentary on the BBC and I empathised a lot with how the experiences he had in his early childhood impacted on his later life and work. To be able to create a dream from nothing in that area of the East End needs something extra special. I didn't grow up there myself but I do live in the same neighbourhood now. A stones throw away from the original doorstep of Pinterland.
