Samuel West - Britten events, Thirteen, Scene & Heard fundraiser

Alexandra Harris and Sam will discuss the relationship between Britten's words and music at Proms Plus Literary today at the Royal College of Music. The discussion will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 at 8.30pm.

He reads "One Hit Wanda" by Kim Newman from the audiobook Thirteen, which will be released 24 August (via @BarnabyEdwards). Other readers include Gemma Arterton and Arthur Darvill.

Sam will host a quiz fundraiser for Scene & Heard on 1 September (via his Twitter, @exitthelemming).

He will narrate Britten Films with the Aurora Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on 29 September.

Sam will teach a Shakespeare workshop for Marlborough Young Actors on 8 December (Marlborough News Online).
