Awards season events

Golden Globe winners included Colin Firth (The King's Speech/Best Performance By An Actor In A Motion Picture – Drama), Paul Giamatti (Barney's Version/Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy Or Musical), Boardwalk Empire (Best Television Series - Drama) and Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire/Best Performance by an Actor In A Television Series - Drama).
Pictures: arrivals (featuring Andrew Garfield, Colin Firth, Hayley Atwell, Kelly Macdonald and Tilda Swinton); Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter and Kelly Macdonald attended the Weinstein/Relativity Media after party (Getty 1|2, @liviafirth 1|2); Andrea Riseborough and Tilda Swinton attended the InStyle/Warner Bros after party (Getty); and Andrew Garfield attended the Sony Pictures Classics after party (Getty).

In other awards season events, Hayley Atwell was a guest at the HBO luxury lounge and the Instyle beauty lounge; also, Hayley Atwell and Andrea Riseborough attended the BAFTA LA tea party (arrivals, red carpet).

Dominic Cooper and Talulah Riley announced the BAFTA film nominations. Nominees include Colin Firth (The King's Speech/Leading Actor), Andrew Garfield (The Social Network/Supporting Actor and Orange Wednesdays Rising Award) and Gemma Arterton (Orange Wednesdays Rising Award).
