Hayley Atwell has admitted she was overwhelmed when she was chosen by acclaimed filmmaker Woody Allen to star in his latest movie, Cassandra's Dream.
"It's so beyond the reality of where you could see yourself when you come straight out of drama school," she said.
"You just don't have a concept that you could be anywhere near to working with someone like Woody Allen."
The 26-year-old British actress - who was in ITV's Mansfield Park - made her feature film debut as Angela, acting opposite Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell.
"I don't think I knew what to do about it other than focus on exactly what I was doing and try not to be distracted by the excitement of it, and just see Woody for what he was and listen to his instructions. I became very serious about the whole thing as a way of coping with how extraordinary it was," Hayley added.
