About

My blog has quite a lot of posts about Samuel West (Julius Caesar, On Chesil Beach and Darkest Hour) and Charles Edwards (My Fair Lady Australian tour and Henry IX).

Samuel West. Audio - Brighton Rock. Narration - The Soldier's Tale. Arts funding.

[updated 11 February 2012]

A review of Brighton Rock has described Sam's narration as "sinister, humorous and moving" (the Guardian).

Two tweets from Sam about Sunday's performance of The Soldier's Tale at the Kew Music Festival:
"Doing Stravinsky's Soldier's Tale with top musos at the Kew Music Festival tonight. Few tickets still available. 8pm, St Anne's Church, Kew."
"Double-bassist tonight is Chi-Chi Nwanoku, broadcaster extraordinaire, all-round cool person and possessor of the finest arms in music."

Sam wrote an article for the Guardian about the importance of public investment in the arts (via @feignedmischief).
