Sam read extracts from some of Barry Humphries' favourite books on Open Book last week (via his Twitter, @exitthelemming).

He narrated Private Life of a Masterpiece "The Adoration of the Christ Child", which is available on iPlayer until 1 January (via his Twitter, @exitthelemming).

Readings from the King James Bible will be broadcast on 9 January and made available as a podcast. BBC Radio 4 has provided programme information for the first seven episodes, and Sam's readings are as follows:
Episode 1 (8.15am) "Creation"
Episode 5 (8pm) "The Baptism of Jesus"

The Better Half will be rebroadcast on BBC Radio 4 on 3 January.
