"...This year we'll be performing Puccini's opera La Bohème, with performances in Ramallah, Nablus and Bethlehem, as well as concerts around both sides of Jerusalem. While it's quite a small thing in the grand spectrum, it does affect local people and it's nice to show that we care enough to get up and do something positive. Samuel West will be directing it. He's very passionate, and in that respect he is similar to our singers, who will spend a long time learning all the major parts and will throw themselves into it because it's such a wonderful place to go to."
